Palmas Del Mar - Bacolod City

	Palmas del Mar is a 2 hectare (5 acre) seaside resort located at the heart of Bacolod City. In addition to its seaside location, Palmas Del Mar has three swimming pools to choose from including a five-lane lapping pool, a free-form island pool and a a Mediterranean-design pool that resembles an ancient Roman Bath. In addition to this, there are 2 Jacuzzis, one intimately sized and the other sized for larger groups. Other recreation amenities offered by the resort include table tennis, billiards, a seaside jogging path and a fitness gym.
	The resort features a number of different suites, all with a different theme. We attempt to reserve the Mediterranean suites that front the Roman Bath style pool. The Iberian suites are equally nice.
	The resort has a very nice restaurant with an international menu that specializes in native and Mediterranean cuisine.
	Bacolod City has a number of malls, bars, music lounges and men's clubs around the town, as well as the only casino on the island and all are less than 10 minutes from the resort.
	Aside from the high level of attention to detail placed in the theme, setting and appointment of the rooms, the resort as a whole has a very unique and tastefully elegant ambiance. We especially appreciate the the service that is offered most tastefully and graciously to our tour guests as well as our tour staff.
	The beachfront of the resort is nothing to brag about considering the resort is located in the immediate vicinity of a major seaport, but the resort grounds are very well maintained and tastefully landscaped.
	The Palmas Del Mar appears to once have been a clubhouse considering it sits within a gated, upscale seaside subdivision. As I understand, over the years it has been renovated, opened to public access and has grown a reputation as being one of the more high-end accommodations in town.
	Considering that we are only passing thru Bacolod on our way to Siquijor, Palmas Del Mar is an excellent hotel in which to rest, relax and enjoy the gracious luxury offered by one of the finest hotels on the island of Negros. I am sure your stay here will be comfortable and relaxed and you will wake-up the following morning rejuvenated and ready to ride. That is if you did not stay up gambling all night at the local casino or partying all night in one of the local bars.
