Friday. Our first ferry crossing from
Cagayan de Oro, Mindanao to Dumaguete, Negros is
Sat. night only, one crossing per week. The
crossing from Siquijor to Bohol is Tue, Thur and Sat
only. All
other ferry crossings are daily routes with multiple
crossings each day. Any changes to the tour itinerary
must satisfy these ferry schedules. In the absence of changing the tour
itinerary, your tour would end with a departure
date from Butuan as a Thursday. |

Itinerary
 |
Day 1 (Fri) - Arrival day in
Manila at Ninoy Aquino International Airport
 |
Our tour
coordinator will meet you at the Manila airport
to assist your transfer to the domestic side of
the airport and assist you in getting
your baggage checked in. We will accompany you on
your flight from Manila to
Butuan. Flight time is about
1½ hours. |
 |
Our transportation
will be waiting at Bancasi airport in
Butuan to
transfer you to the
Almont Inland Resort. You will stay at this same resort on the last night of the tour after we arrive
back in Butuan. |
 |
Shortly after your arrival
and check-in and after we have eaten lunch, we will assemble
for a short indoctrination session. We will issue your cell
phone and motorcycle then take a short ride thru the city
streets of Butuan and into
the countryside (about 30 to 45 minutes) to allow you time
to get a feel for the motorcycles and also to get your feet
wet driving amongst the other Filipino drivers. |
 |
After we return, the rest of
the afternoon and evening is yours to unwind from the jet
lag, take a swim, eat dinner and explore
Butuan if you so desire. |
|
 |
Day 2 (Sat) -
Ride from Butuan City to
Cagayan de Oro & Overnight Ferry Crossing to
Dumaguete City, Negros
 |
7:00am breakfast, suit-up, check-out
and off we go to Cagayan De Oro sometime around 8:30am |
 |
The ride from
Butuan City to
Cagayan De
Oro is about 4-5 hours long including rest stops, photo ops
and a lunch break. We should arrive in Cagayan de Oro no
later than 1:30pm. This is a very nice ride with a mixture
of mountains, inland and coastal roads. |
 |
There are a number of ways to
kill time in Cagayan De Oro and how we do so is up to the
tour group. The possibilities include shopping at the
Limketkai and SM malls, riding thru the city to check out the
sights and there are also some nice eco-tourism attractions.
If we manage our time properly, we should be able to include
all of the above, reserving the malls for our dinner and
evening activities, and still get to the ferry terminal
about 10:00pm in time to process in the motorcycles and
board Cebu Ferry 01 bound for Dumaguete with a midnight
departure time. |
 |
Our accommodations on
Cebu Ferry 01 will be semi-private with
2 couples sharing a cabin
with its own porthole, private bathroom and cable TV. Sleeping
arrangements are bunk beds with privacy curtains. There is a
snack bar on the ferry to keep us stocked with drinks and
snacks and the early morning necessity of coffee. We will hold our evening review
of the following day's ride to
Iloilo prior to the ferry
departing from port. |
|
 |
Day 3 (Sun) -
Arrival at port of Dumaguete - Ride to
Bacolod &
Ferry crossing to Iloilo City, Panay
 |
We will awake about 7:00am to see the port of
Dumaguete City, Negros over the bow (front) of
the boat and the
island of Siquijor to the
starboard side (right). We should be processed
off the ferry and ready to Ride by 8:00am |
 |
We will stop in
Dumaguete City for breakfast and then mount-up
for our ride to
Bacolod which will take about 4
hours including rest stops, photo ops and such.
We should arrive in
Bacolod City around 1:00pm
to 2:00pm |
 |
We will eat lunch in
Bacolod City and then ride to the port to make
the crossing to the port of Dumangas, which is
about 20 minutes north east of
Iloilo City, Panay. The ferry
departs from
Bacolod at 4:00pm and
arrives at the port of Dumangas in
Iloilo at 5:00pm |
 |
After departing from
the ferry terminal, sometime around 5:30pm, we
will make a short 30 minute ride to our hotel for the
night, Hotel Del Rio, which is situated on the
banks of the Iloilo River. After checking-in and
eating dinner, we will hold our evening review
of the following day's ride to Caticlan and crossing to
Boracay, after which the evening is yours to
dispose of as you wish. |
|
 |
Day 4 (Mon) - Ride from
Iloilo City
to Caticlan and pumpboat ride to
Boracay
 |
We will awake around
7:00am and eat the breakfast buffet at the
coffee shop in
Hotel Del
Rio, then suit-up for our
ride to the tip of Panay at the port of Caticlan.
We should be on the bikes and riding by 8:30am.
We will travel the national highway going to
Caticlan, which hugs the western shoreline of
Panay that borders the Sulu Sea. This is a very
scenic ride that starts out with a crossing of
the Cordillera mountains and continues with
ocean views to the left and mountains to the
right for most all of the way to Caticlan. |
 |
The ride to Caticlan
will take about 4 hours and upon our arrival, we
will leave the bikes and our tour staff behind
and immediately board one of the waiting
pumpboat ferries (A.K.A. outrigger boat) for a
short 10 minute ride to the worlds #1 exotic
beach destination,
Boracay Island. The entire
island is only about 6km long so there is no
need for your motorcycles here and I doubt very
seriously if you would even think about them for
the next day and a half. |
 |
Upon our arrival on
Boracay Island,
we will charter a tricycle (pedal cab) for each
couple and in a matter of 10 minutes courtesy of Filipino foot power, we
will arrive at our home for the next 2 nights,
the Nigi Nigi Too resort,
located at Boat Station 1 on White beach. That
is unless everyone is game to make a beach
assault on the resort, in which case we will
have the outrigger boat take us directly to the
beach in front of the resort. |
 |
Upon check-in to our
rooms at Nigi Nigi Too's, we will
walk about 10 minutes to the D-Mall and sit down for
pizza at a very nice Italian restaurant that
specializes in pizza baked in a wood-fired
oven.. |
 |
Other than dinner, we
have no other items on the itinerary for this
afternoon and evening. My suggestion would be to
walk around the main strip and beach front road
to see what all is around and get a good
perspective for what you want to do the
following day. We will also hold a very short
and sweet evening review of our group activity
option for the following day. Afterwards, the
night-life of
Boracay is at your fingertips |
|
 |
Day 5 (Tue) - Boracay Activities
!!!
 |
Itinerary ??? We are
at the worlds #1 exotic beach destination and
you want an itinerary ??? Ok here it is,
wake-up, coffee, breakfast,
Boracay, lunch,
Boracay, dinner,
Boracay night-life |
 |
Seriously, we have
5000 budgeted per couple (per bike) for group
activities. What you decide to do with it is
your decision. Among the options are mountain
biking, kite-boarding, wind-surfing, snorkeling,
jet skies, island hopping, souvenir shopping and
more. 5000 pesos is a lot of money in the
Philippines and will pay for most any activity
you wish to engage in if spent individually
including all of the above mentioned activities.
If spent collectively, it will go even further,
the choice is yours. |
 |
Our meals this day
are all paid for at
Nigi Nigi Too's
restaurant/bar so you can choose to eat here for
free or eat elsewhere at your own expense. |
|
 |
Day 6 (Wed) - Crossing from
Boracay
to Caticlan, Panay - Ride to
Iloilo City and ferry crossing to
Bacolod City, Negros
 |
Assuming you actually
went to sleep the night before, our wake-up call
is 8:00am. Our goal is to eat breakfast with
bags packed and assembled at the pump-boat
landing around 9:30am. Assuming we meet our
goal, we will be back on the shores of Panay
before 10:00am, where our trusty and jealous
tour staff will be waiting with our bikes and
whatever baggage you decided to leave behind. |
 |
After loading up all
of your souvenirs and baggage into the chase
van, we will depart for
Iloilo. Depending upon
my latest survey of the north eastern coastal
road, we may take this route back to
Iloilo as
it offers some very nice scenery of the eastern shoreline
of Panay, otherwise, we will follow
the Strong Republic Nautical Highway that
cuts thru the island's interior. We will need to be be back in
Iloilo City
before 4:00pm to catch the ferry back to
Bacolod. We will find a decent place to eat
lunch while in route. |
 |
Depending upon when
we arrive back in
Iloilo, we
have the options of a 3:30pm and a 5:10pm
crossing. We will exercise the earliest
opportunity and hit the port in
Bacolod
about 1½ hours later. After receiving the bikes
from the ferry, we will take a short ride to our
hotel for the evening,
Palmas Del Mar, situated
on the oceanfront. |
 |
After checking into
our rooms at the
Palmas Del Mar resort, we will
eat dinner in the resort's restaurant and
immediately afterward we will hold our evening
review of the following day's ride to Dumaguete
and ferry crossing to Siquijor Island. After the
evening review, you are free to go about your
business unobstructed. |
|
 |
Day 7 (Thur) - Ride
from Bacolod City to Dumaguete & Ferry Crossing to
Siquijor
 |
Our wake-up call this
morning will be 5:00am to facilitate our arrival
in Dumaguete no later than 10:00am. We will eat
breakfast and be suited-up ready to ride at
6:30am |
 |
The ride to Dumaguete
is about 3 hours so the only stops we will be
making on this leg of the tour is for restroom
and re-hydration. We should arrive at the port
in Dumaguete around 10:00am and immediately
proceed to check-in on the ferry and load the
bikes. Our departure time is 11:15am |
 |
The ferry ride to
Siquijor is short and sweet and our ferry should
be docking at the port of
Siquijor municipality
around 11:45am to 12:00noon. From here, it is
about a 30 minute ride to our home for the next
2 nights at the
Coco Grove Beach Resort, which is located on
the southwestern coast of the island in the
municipality of San Juan. |
 |
Upon our arrival, we
will check-in and eat lunch at the resort's
beach-side restaurant. After lunch, it is time
to start our exploration of the island, starting
with a ride around the entire island that will
have us stopping at the local markets and
churches along the way. The ride around the
island is only 102km (64mi) long so we will have
plenty of time to take in all of the sights,
stop for photo ops and browse the local markets
for souvenirs before making it back to the
Coco Grove Beach Resort in time for dinner
around 6:00pm |
 |
After dinner, we will
have a short review of the following day's
activities and the remainder of the evening is
yours to dispose of as you wish |
|
 |
Day 8 (Fri) -
Siquijor Island
Exploration and Activities
 |
Our wake-up call this morning
is 7:00am, after which we will proceed to eat breakfast at
Salamandas restaurant overlooking the white sand beach in
front of the Coco Grove Beach Resort. |
 |
Having spent the previous
afternoon visiting all of the sights and public markets, we
reserve our activities this day to cave exploration
(morning) and snorkeling/diving (afternoon). As always, you
are free to opt-out of the group activities and do as you
wish if there is something else you wish to explore or if
you simply want to relax on the beach and enjoy the
amenities of the
Coco Grove
Beach resort. |
 |
After returning to the resort
from our cave explorations and eating lunch, we will put on
the mask and fins (tanks also if you have your diver's
certification card) and explore the exotic and colorful
underwater world of Siquijor that causes it to rank in the
top 10 diving spots world wide. |
 |
Returning to the resort from
our underwater adventures, we will eat dinner and
immediately hold our evening review of the following day's
activities and ferry crossing to
Bohol. The remainder of the
evening is open to your own desires. |
|
 |
Day 9 (Sat) - Ferry Crossing and ride from
Siquijor Island to
Bohol
 |
Our wake-up call this morning
is the decent hour of 8:00am. After breakfast, The entire
morning is reserved to sit back and enjoy the resort
and white sand beach of
Siquijor Island.
Feel free to embark upon your own snorkeling or morning dive
adventure. |
 |
We will eat lunch about
12:00noon and immediately proceed to check-out of the
resort. Once again, we will tour around the island and
back-track in our previous tire tracks to hit the markets
and get those souvenirs you wish you had bought 2 days back. |
 |
We will arrive in the port at
Larena about 5:30pm so we will have enough time to eat
dinner at a local restaurant as well as check-in and load
the motorcycles for our evening crossing to the port of
Tagbilaran, Bohol.
Departure time from Larena is 9:00pm and arrival in
Tagbilaran is 12:00 midnight |
 |
We will hold our evening
review on the ferry and upon our arrival in Tagbilaran, we
will make a midnight ride from the port to our resort,
Isis Bungalows, on
the island of Panglao. Including the processing time to get
our motorcycles off the ferry and the riding time to the
resort, we should arrive about 1:30am at
Isis Bungalows.
After check-in its lights-out. |
|
 |
Day 10 (Sun) - Tour and ride of
Bohol and Panglao
Island
 |
Our wake-up call this
morning is 8:00am, after which we will proceed
to eat breakfast overlooking Alona Beach from
the open-air restaurant of the
Isis
Bungalows resort. After breakfast, we will
begin our activities which starts with a ride
into Tagbilaran City. |
 |
Using Tagbilaran City
as the starting point, we will start out on our
trek to circumnavigate the entire island, a ride
of about 250km./156mi. During this ride, we will
pass many old churches and visit the site of the
Blood Compact. We will depart the costal road on
the northern side of the island, near Tubigon, to head inland
and visit the Chocolate Hills, where we will eat lunch at
the restaurant located in the park development.
|
 |
After traveling back to the
coastal road and riding to the south side of the island, we
will also take a short rest around 4:00pm to
enjoy a 1 hr ride up the scenic Loboc river on a
floating restaurant, buffet and live
entertainment included. |
 |
We should be back at the
resort about the time it is getting dark and immediately sit
down for dinner at the Isis Bungalows Restaurant. After dinner
we will hold our evening review of the following
day's ferry crossing and ride to
Camiguin Island. Afterwards, you are free to do as you
please. |
|
 |
Day 11 (Mon) - Ride from
Panglao
Island to Camiguin Island
 |
Our wake-up call this
morning will be at 8:00am. We will eat breakfast
and be suited-up, ready to ride at 9:30am. The
ride to the port of Jagna will take about 1.5
hrs from the resort and have us arriving at the
port about 11:00am. |
 |
The ferry does not
leave until 1:00pm so we have plenty of time to
eat and get checked in. We should arrive at the
port of Mambajao on
Camiguin Island about 5:00pm
and we will immediately ride to
Paras
Beach Resort which is only about a 15 min
ride from the port. |
 |
After checking-in, we
will eat dinner and hold our evening review of
the following day's activities. Afterwards, you
are free to do whatever strikes your fancy. |
|
 |
Day 12 (Tue) - Tour
Camiguin Island
 |
Our wake-up call this
morning will be 7:00am. we will attempt to eat
breakfast and be suited-up, ready to ride by
8:30am. Our morning activities will be to,
again, circumnavigate the island.
|
 |
Camiguin
Island is much smaller than
Bohol and you
can easily ride the entire islands shoreline in
2 hours. Our ride, however, will take about 4
hours since we will be stopping at a number of
sites including the sunken cemetery, 2 natural
hot springs, an active volcano observatory, a
dormant volcano and the runs of an old church
that was destroyed during the Japanese
occupation in WWII. There is also a natural cold
spring and a soda swimming pool if anyone is
interested in visiting. |
 |
We should be back at
Paras
Beach Resort in time for lunch around 12:30
to 1:30pm. After lunch, we have an island
hopping excursion planned to visit White Island,
which is basically just a large wishbone shaped
sand bar with white sand. This is a perfect
place to do some snorkeling. We will also make a
sea visit to the sunken cemetery that we saw
from the land vantage point earlier. |
 |
Upon our return to
the resort, the remainder of the afternoon and
evening is yours to do as you wish, other than
taking time to eat dinner and hold our evening
review of our travel back to
Butuan the
following day. |
|
 |
Day 13 (Wed) - Ride from
Camiguin Island
to Butuan City
 |
Our wake-up call this
morning will be 6:00am so we can eat breakfast
and be suited-up by 7:30am. We will be riding to
the southern tip of
Camiguin Island to the port
of Benoni, where we will catch the 9:30am ferry
back to Mindanao, arriving at the port of
Balingoan about 10:30am. |
 |
The ride from
Balingoan to Butuan
City is about 1.5 hours so we should be back
at the
Almont Inland Resort about lunch time. After
lunch, you will go thru the process of
turning-in your cell phone and motorcycle and we
will hold a short wrap-up meeting. The remainder
of the day is yours to do as you wish. |
 |
We will hold our last
evening review about 7:30pm, after dinner and
again you are free to go about your business
un-obstructed. |
|
 |
Day 14 (Thur) - Flight from
Butuan City to Manila
 |
Since the only item
on the itinerary today is your 15 minute trip to
Bancasi airport, you can pretty much do as you
wish as far as your wake-up time goes, but you
will need to have all of your morning business
taken care of and have your bags ready to load
by 9:30am. The van will depart for Bancasi
airport at 10:30am so you will arrive at the
airport in plenty of time to check-in the 1 hour
early that PAL requires. |
 |
There are a few gift
shops outside the airport that sell very
reasonably priced T-shirts and hand crafts. I am
sure the vendors will appreciate your business.
I would suggest, however, that you refrain from
eating the food at their native cafeterias and
reserve your appetite for the airport in Manila. |
 |
Our van will remain
at the airport until your flight is in the air.
We bid you farewell and and a pleasant flight
home, hoping to see you and many more of your
friends back again very soon to ride with us on
the Lower Visayan
Islands and/or Eastern Visayan Islands tours.

Lone
Riders Run
 |
Lone riders make up the bulk of our business and we have molded
our tour package especially for you, to keep down the tour cost and
to allow the tour to operate even
when there is only one motorcycle signed-up. All lone rider's runs
are operated without the chase van and we only accept a maximum of 4 motorcycles on
tour. Now you don't have to worry about whether or not we are able
to get 2 or 3 more bikes registered and as soon as we receive your
deposit it becomes a done deal so start packing your bags. |
 |
Special
Terms and Conditions
 |
Booking deposit of 50%
is required 30 days in advance of the tour start
date to secure your spot on the tour. This
deposit is non-refundable, in consideration that
we will immediately be using it to make all
necessary resort reservations and these
reservations are, in turn, non-refundable to us.
The remaining 50% balance is due 2 weeks prior
to the tour start date and is fully refundable
(minus wire transfer and currency exchange fees)
should unforeseen circumstances prevent you from
coming. An advance booking deposit of 10% is
optional and can be made as much as 12 months in
advance of the tour start date. This will
lock-in your spot on tour as well as the tour
cost and will exempt you from any potential
price increases. If you opt to make this advance
deposit, an additional booking deposit of only
40% is due at the 1 month mark prior to the tour
start date, instead of the normal 50%. The same
terms and conditions apply to the advance
booking deposit as are applicable to the booking
deposit. |
 |
The tour cost will be the 1-2
motorcycle un-escorted tour cost. In the event
we are able to get more than 2 motorcycles
signed up on the tour, we will issue a refund in
cash on the day you arrive, based on the total
number of motorcycles on tour. |

Payment Policy
(Please review our TERMS & CONDITIONS page
for more details)
 |
All tours are priced
in Philippine Pesos (PHP) and this is a fixed price. Currency
exchange rates
fluctuate on a minute by minute basis, 24 hours a day, same as stock prices, so
the amount you pay in your currency will vary slightly but
usually never more than 1-2% over a period of 30 days.
|
 |
A booking fee of 50% is due 30 days prior to the scheduled start
date of your tour. The remaining balance is due 15 days prior to
your scheduled start date.
 |
Booking fee is non-refundable if you decide to re-schedule or
cancel your tour. We use this portion of the payment to make all
resort reservations and sometimes ferry reservations at certain
ports where the more luxurious accommodations on the ferries are
known to stay booked solid as much as 1 month or more in advance.
Most all resorts require we make reservations as much as 30 days
in advance to secure their luxury rooms. These reservation fees
are non-refundable to us if your tour is rescheduled or cancelled. |
 |
Please make sure you will be able to travel on the dates you
plan. Never book a tour unless all tour guests have their
passports in hand and round trip airplane reservations confirmed.
These are the 2 primary reasons why tours need rescheduling. |
 |
The second payment made to us (50% balance) is refundable for
lone rider's tours, but non-refundable in full for individuals of
chartered group tour packages in consideration that the tour cost
has been discounted for all participants, based on the total
number of motorcycles on tour. If this happens, we adjust the
total tour cost of the tour based on the new number of motorcycles
on tour and any remaining balance is refunded minus wire transfer
and currency exchange fees. |
 |
In the event that the entire tour group needs to cancel and
you have already made the final 50% installment, this installment
will be fully refunded minus any wire transfer and currency
exchange fees. |
 |
In the event that you want to re-schedule the tour, we will do
our best to transfer the resort reservations to the new tour dates
and keep your loss to a minimum but we cannot make any guarantees
in regards to being able to transfer the reservations without
penalties or loss.. |
|
 |
All payments are made by
international wire transfer into our account in the Philippines. You are
responsible for paying all wire transfer fees and currency
exchange fees. The amount we receive in our account must equal
the fixed PHP tour cost. Please make sure to shop rates from
various financial institutions prior to making your transfers.
Although international wire transfer fees are generally about
the same from one bank to another, currency
exchange fees can range from 1% to 5%. Sometimes, a currency
broker can be your best option. Make sure you are getting a good
rate !!!
 |
Please make sure your financial
institution understands that your wire transfer needs to equal a
specific amount of foreign currency after all fees. Any
discrepancy in the total amount of actual funds received into
our account and the actual tour cost will be payable in cash
upon arrival or refunded if over paid. |
 |
We require that your
wire transfers be made as single transactions
for the deposit and final payment for the
combined total cost of all motorcycles on tour,
instead of individual transfers from each of the
tour members. Not only does this make our life
much simpler in tracking and registering your
payments, it will also save your tour group a
considerable amount of money in wire transfer
fees and also give you more favorable terms if
you choose to use a currency broker. Please
explore these suggestions with due diligence.
They are sure to save you a considerable amount
of money !!!

Entry
(VISA) Requirements
(No VISA Required !!!)
 |
You do not need any special VISA to
